Please call for instructions. For after-hours arrival, balance must be paid in full, rental agreement signed. Early Check-In:We offer a limited number of 12:30 PM check-Ins for those guests with special arrival needs. A fee of $125.00 will be charged to cover housekeeping and administration expenses. No early arrivals will be permitted to check-in unless requested and paid in advance. Ask our Vacation Specialists about details. Check Out: Before 10:00AM on day of departure. There is a $50.00 per hour late check out fee. If North Myrtle Beach vacation rental property is not vacated by 12:00 P.M. a full day’s rent will be charged. Capacity of Accommodations: Properties are restricted to the number stated that it accommodates stated regardless of available bedding. Exceptions made only for infants. Misrepresentation will result in eviction without refund. Campers allowed at properties for transportation only. Hook-ups are against city ordinance. Some condominiums do not allow recreational vehicle parking. top Rental Charges & Taxes: The published rental rate for your stay, plus a $50.00 reservation fee, $35.00 Accidental Damage Waiver, Sales & Lodging taxes totaling 11% and if you desire, travel insurance is available. (All payments must be paid in U.S. Dollars, drawn on a U.S. Bank.) top Reservation Deposit:You will need to send 50% of the rent amount, $50.00 reservation fee and the optional travel insurance, to confirm a reservation. This is due within 7 days of making the reservation, or the reservation will automatically be cancelled. Credit Card deposit is necessary when your arrival is within 30 days. Personal checks are acceptable, only if received 30 days prior to your arrival date. top Balance Payment:Your balance payment, as outlined on the North Myrtle Beach vacation rental agreement is due 30 days prior to check-in. MasterCard, Visa, Discover or personal check will be accepted. However, WE CANNOT ACCEPT PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS UNLESS WE RECEIVE IT NO LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Peace of Mind - Accidental Damage Waiver: All reservations will be charged a $35 mandatory Accidental Damage Waiver. It will be automatically added to each reservation at booking. It is not refunded or applied to future North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals. The Accidental Damage Waiver does not negate your responsibility as a tenant.
The Staff of Grand Strand Vacations will determine all necessary repairs. Report all damages to Grand Strand Vacations by the day of check-out. Charges are as follows: Adherence to all policies as outlined on the lease and occupancies are enforced. Failure to comply will mean no future rental to that occupant. Travel Insurance:Travel Insurance is available for reservations made 3 or more days in advance and is offered when you make your reservations. Your North Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Agreement will outline the cost of this insurance, and is included in your deposit request payment. A pamphlet with detailed insurance information will be sent with your Rental Lease Agreement. Please call CSA Travel Protection for further information and with any questions concerning coverage of pre-existing conditions (866-298-6846). Privately Owned Properties:Our North Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Properties are all privately owned and reflect the individual tastes of the owner. We can not make changes to furnishings or equipment. The same are subject to change without notice or compensation. The Owner of each property provides you with cookware, dinnerware, glassware, bedspreads, mattress pads, & pillows. Disposable items are not provided. ***Property items (such as bedspreads, pillows, chairs, pots, pans, dishes, glasses or silverware) are not to be taken out of the property (to the beach or other properties). top
Linens are not provided (unless otherwise noted) For your convenience; Sheets, Pillowcases, Towels & Washcloths are available for rental at Grand Strand Vacations. Delivery, Pick up, and other services are available, ask your Vacation Specialist for further details. Don’t forget your LINEN - Linens, port-a-cribs, full-size cribs, and highchairs may be rented for your convenience. Complete Linen Package: Bed Package: Bath Towel Package: Bath Mat Package: Kitchen Package: Separates (each): Beds Made - $10.00/ bed Delivery fee - $20.00 Mid Week Clean – call for pricing Full Crib - $50.00 Port-a-Crib - $25.00 Rollaway - $30.00 High Chair - $15.00 (prices do not include taxes) What you need to Bring: **Refrigerators and Freezers: Prior to your arrival, the refrigerator may have been left open for a period of time during cleaning. It can take as long 24 - 36 hours to fully recover proper temperature, especially if you fill it with warm groceries. Make sure the refrigerator and freezer are always set at a medium temperature. If the refrigerator is turned to the highest setting, the humidity will cause the coils to ice up and prevent cool air from reaching the refrigerator compartment, while the freezer compartment remains cold. If this occurs, please return the unit to a medium setting with both controls and allow time to defrost and stabilize. Helpful Hint: Your groceries will cool faster if you avoid frequent opening and shutting of the refrigerator door during the first evening, use an ice filled cooler for drinks. In other words, refrigerator complaints made on your arrival day will not be responded to until the next day and confirmation of continued problem. top Our In-house Maintenance and Housekeeping Staff: They are here to make sure that your North Myrtle Beach vacation home is in the best condition that it can be. If you should discover otherwise, please report it to us immediately and we will correct it as quickly as possible. Check out is NOT the time to let us know about problems. We cannot issue refunds for mechanical breakdowns or cleanliness issues. In order to make timely repairs or inspection, Grand Strand Vacations' personnel or representatives shall have the right to enter the property at reasonable hours. If a service call is made and entry refused, renter will be held liable for service call fee.top Pools: are generally opened up before Easter and closed down on October 1st. Spas will be made available for use by request and require 6 hour after service before use. Heated Pools: Houses advertised with heated pools will be heated during the following time periods: March 1st - May 30th and September 1st - November 1st of each year. Please note that pool heaters will not operate if the air temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Property Telephones:Property phone numbers will appear on your rental agreement. Not all properties have telephones. No long distance calls are to be placed unless they are collect or billed to your credit card. Many of our units have telephones with toll restriction, which prevents anyone from dialing long distance. No collect calls are allowable on phones with this feature. *There is a $20.00 fee for calls billed to owners. top Sofa Sleeper:We do not recommend sofa sleepers for adult use. We ask that they be for the use of children, only. top Pet Policy: We have a few Pet Friendly properties, and are notated throughout this brochure. They require a $150.00 pet fee. **Having a pet(s) in a non-pet friendly property is a violation and material breach of Grand Strand Vacations Rental Agreement and is grounds for eviction without refund and you will be charged $200.00. topNo House Parties:We have the right to and will terminate any rental, with no refund, if, in our opinion, the renter is detrimental to the property. Event Fee: $1200.00 Weddings, Family/ Class Reunions, or any event that exceeds the maximum accommodation of the property.
Departure Cleaning: We provide departure cleaning for you (unless otherwise noted). We ask that you please: take out the trash, wash the dishes, secure the property and return all keys to our office. top Parking Permits: Parking permits are required at most properties. Some have parking restrictions. Please ask. Vacation beach condos are allowed only two (2) Vehicles, some only allow one (1). Additional vehicles may be parked on adjacent lot at our office with a GSV parking permit. Locked Closets: Some owners have private storage. These areas are absolutely not included in the rental. Entry into locked closets is prohibited and considered damage to property. You will be charged accordingly. top Construction: Tourism is the largest industry in the North Myrtle Beach area and new houses and condos are always being built. We can not predict the location of all construction activity in the area and may not be able to inform you at the time you make your North Myrtle Beach vacation reservation whether or not your accommodations are near a construction site. Should you find yourself near construction, please exercise patience and understanding. In the event it becomes intolerable, we will do our best to talk to the contractors, but no refunds or moves will be made. top No campers, Trailers or Motor homes can be connected to properties, per city ordinance. Lost and Found:We cannot be held responsible for items left behind. We do make every effort to locate and return them to you. We will locate, package and return items for $25.00 plus postage. top Concierge Services: Fax, copy machines and Internet access are available. Also, advice on local restaurants, fishing, shopping, etc. is available. Please ask us for assistance. **See the About the Area/Shopping section for more information** Special Reminders: All town and community ordinances are to be observed. No vehicles allowed on dunes or beaches. No beach fires are allowed on the beach. Please use only beach access provided - do not walk on private property. Electric Vehicles: Electric vehicles (golf carts) are subject to all laws and ordinances applicable to operations of a motor vehicle on public roads, including that all operators must possess a valid driver's license. Traffic laws and ordinances are enforced by local authorities. Reservations Priority: "Continue the Tradition." Previous year renters have first priority for the same property the following year, until checkout. However, please, try to make your reservation by Thursday of your vacation stay. A non-refundable $150.00 tentative deposit is due at time of booking the reservation and is deducted from the reservation deposit, due January 20th. Please contact our office for further details.
